Allan has over 30 years of experience in civil engineering materials testing, specializing in the investigation of reinforced concrete structures. He has played key roles in major post-tensioned projects, including the A4 Hammersmith Flyover, Chiswick Flyover, and Glasgow’s Kingston Bridge.
In the past 15 years, Allan has focused on buildings and car parks, developing in-house testing methods to identify structural deterioration and support targeted repair strategies.
At VCS, he leads complex investigations and provides technical training, continually advancing the company’s capabilities through his deep expertise and innovative approach.
